Josiah’s interest in construction started off young, learning how to do many types of projects around home from his dad. 

In 2011, he got a job with an Amish crew where he spent many long days building barns, cabins, garages, and backyard sheds. In the 6 years he worked there he learned many skills from framing, siding, shingle & metal roofing and more. 

From there, he moved into commercial roofing for a 2 years. But it wasn’t long before he was ready to build something different on his own.

Flipping houses in Northeast Ohio was the next chapter. It was more than just construction, it was deal making, project management, and marketing. He still currently flips real estate with his business partner.

Seven years into real estate, he launched a pressure washing business, not just to clean houses, but to test and refine marketing strategies he learned in his years in the real estate business.

Then, in 2025, Contractor Conversions was born. Built specifically for contractors and blue-collar business owners, because that’s the world Josiah grew up in.
